Sukkot

What a lovely few days it has been.  Hersh did not have school, and I did not have work, so we had lots of time to do things together.  On Friday, I took the kids to a petting zoo/enchanted forest.  It was a little bizarre, but very fun.  The we had the Aplebaum Family over for Shabbat dinner in our Sukkah.  On Saturday we went to brunch at the diner which was a treat enjoyed by all.  We then went to the Smithsonian Museum of American History.  HBB loves the national anthem/flag exhibit, and AlteLu really enjoyed walking all around and touching everything.  Then today we had some friends in our sukkah, and enjoyed the beautiful Fall day.  I have to say Fall makes MD seem nice:)
AlteLu is chatting more and more each day.  She has been saying "book" but is now saying "gook."  She says, "ba" for "ball" and is getting better at communicating her needs.  She says "up" and lets us know when she wants to eat, bathe, sleep, or nurse, by signing. She also likes to dance, and has been carrying around the salt and pepper shakers from the toy kitchen, all around the house.
HBB is quite the little man.  Lots to say, many opinions, tons of ideas.  So inquisitive and creative.  So grateful for our family of 4!
